Distillery of Poněšice

This family-run distillery was established in 2002 in the picturesque village of Poněšice near Hluboká nad Vltavou, as the owner's dream to come true. The idea came up to fill the free retirement time, however, the owner can not complain for having too much free time for the last couple of years.The distillery has become so renowned that its satisfied customers keep returning.

Pure fruit brandies and liqueurs are produced here. Alcohol in their spirits comes from fruit mash. The brandy of Poněšice labelled wit the 3P logo - punc panenské přírody (hallmark of pure nature), is high quality distillate from fruit produced without any addition of dyes, flavorings or food alcohol. Its flavor could be described as delicate, refined with distinctive aroma of fruit from the South Bohemian region.

Each bottle is unique due to the manual labeling and stamping, even though the owner mechanised the manufacturing process as much as possible using his own power.

In addition to mass-produced product, you can order a gift pack or original bottles made of of blown glass incluiding engraving.

Weekdays: 1.00 – 6.00 pm
Weekends: upon prior phone arrangement
