Rowing boat trips

Hluboká nad Vltavou does not only mean its castle. Just underneath it, the Vltava river leaves the České Budějovice basin and sinks into the valley to first wash the banks of the Castle and Poněšice game preserves and then to get embraced by the rocks of Karvanice in the Poněšice Gorge.

From our rowing boats, you can enjoy the wonderful and mysterious ten kilometres of the reserve and gorge and share unspoiled nature along with fallow deer in the game preserve, herons on the banks and dragonflies above the water.

The trip takes approximately 3-4 hours and is suitable especially for families with children and undemanding boaters who want to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
